Decidedly not, which is what prompted my original question.
It may carry a vertical load rating, but if it is not stated, I don't
feel comfortable using it that way.  I REALLY wish
dealers/distributors would put that info on their websites.  Or at
least the MANUFACTURER'S info, so that I can go to them.
(I'm looking at you, Rose Brand.)

That said, iWeiss carries a MEGA Gridlock clamp with a vertical load rating:

It LOOKS very similar to the one sold by Sapsis, but I can't know for
sure if they are the same thing.

Contacting the distributors would be the next step...
