Depending on the timing of our need for it, you are welcome to borrow our tape roller for your brief needs. We have a handy homemade one that works well and we only end up using it a handful of times each season. It would be real hard to break and it would be put to better use on loan than collecting dust in the corner. Contact me next time you need one and I'll see if we can't work something out.
