It sounds to me as though you are just dumping the failed gear without
even trying to mend it. I think that this is a foolish approach to a
problem, although, to be fair, I am an electronics engineer with a lot
of experience. But a small expenditure on some test gear might save
you a lot of trouble and expense.

You do not need a great deal of gear. A test oscillator and a good
multimeter will allow you to diagnose many problems, together with a
pair of high-impedance cans. Most of the problems with power
amplifiers stem from a power supply failure. Fuses are not immortal,
but are sometimes buried inside the works. A circuit diagram is really
needed, but not essential. Intelligent examination will often reveal
an internal fault.

I am not suggesting that you employ a service engineer. Just open it
up and poke around intelligently with the meter, with it powered up.
That will often allow you to diagnose and solve the problem.

We still have three or four systems running now for nearly 8 years without issue. Music store level gear. Sounds like it would fit the bill for what you are looking for.
