I have a query via the American Society for Theatre Research of which I find myself a member, enquiring about iPad apps for a theatre department. Oh great wisdom of the Stagecraft list whose interests range mightily from Beer and Barbecue to Rigging Calcs and lighting swatch books, I would be grateful if you would deluge Kristi Austin from Idaho state university with recommendations? I can pass on anything you put on, or she has expressed and interest in joining herself.

> Hi, I wondered if any of you could help me with this query from one of my faculty members. I am a reference librarian who also serves as bibliographer for music, theatre, dance, and fine arts.
> I am apparently not very tech-savvy, for this one has me stymied.
>
> "I was able to get 30 iPads for the theatre department and I need to request the apps I want added to them.
> Do you know of any great theatre library resources that are apps? Things that would help with research or anything you would recommend.
> Or does the ISU library have any subscriptions to theatre items that could be added to these iPads?"
>
> Do you keep a list of recommended apps for university-level theatre students and scholars? Would you be willing to share it with me? I could compile your responses and post them if anyone else is interested.
>
> We do have electronic resources that should be accessible via the Internet -- would an app be necessary to access them?
