Hi Jon

We upgraded an analog 15 yr old security camera to a Panasonic AW HE60HN (or SN or HE or SE).
Digital, PTZ, HDMI

Very nice.

We also got a Panasonic remote camera controller, AW-RP50N. (allows multi-camera control)

The upgrades included HD flatpanel TVs backstage L and R, back hallway, and 8 in the lobby. (and of course the improved wiring for the signal)

We have the ability to record video, but haven't done that yet. We do send signal to camera crews for their webcasts (wide stage shot, some of the front row). The primary purpose of the system is production video (to see the image backstage or in the lobby). I do tweak focus/zoom/aperature depending on the event, stage config, how dark it is.

I love it. The zoom of the camera is stunning for something that small. P and T speed can be controlled so live shots aren't too speedy if you push too hard.

Recording presets on the controller is easy, takes up very little table top next to me.

I like them.

What we don't love is the Crestron controller, which is used to direct the different feeds to the different TVs (camera 1, second venue, digital signage 1, bar menu 2). Overly complex and not user friendly.
