Offered strictly FWIW: I haven't pretended to be an Audio Guy for
some time now, at least a decade, but Back In The Day we replaced the
old Yamaha PM1800 analog console in the basketball arena at Moo-U with
an Allen & Heath GL4000... It wasn't the Be-All & End-All of mixing
consoles, but for reinforcement on a budget it proved to be an
excellent desk, albeit with some decidedly British signal-routing
quirks...
If someone held a large-caliber firearm to my head and forced me to be
a Soundinista again (and they'd have to), I'd take the A&H over the
ProSonus in a New York second, with no hesitation or reservation.
*Ed. Note: The trusty old GL4K has since been replaced with a Yamaha
M7CLv3. And so it goes...
