[SML] MLDB

Hi Diana,
This is a great start.

Here are some notes from my first glance…

I noticed that when I clicked on Manufacturer, it sorted about a third of the list…
It gets partway through HES, then goes back and starts with more fixtures from each manufacturer… why is that?

For the side scrolling… if you click into a box you can right arrow across to see all of the fields.

However, the top row and first column are not locked to stay on-screen. This means that you cannot see whether you’re looking at height or width without scrolling back to the top. And can easily lose track of which fixtures you are looking at.

Bitmap I’m interested in, but i’m hoping to have downloadable specsheets in first, to hold over. (if anyone has an archive of those I’d love to have them)
I’m thinking of giving gobo load and total gobo counts to an intern or something. (if anyone has an intern for this purpose I’d love to have that too)
The comparison option I’ll have to think about how to do. For now, clicking each column heading sorts the worksheet. That might help in the mean time.

I’ll put all your notes on the wishlist.
Thank you so much for looking!!!

Nice work DK.

My wish list would include a side by side comparison option like if you were shopping online you select say the viper and the vl4000 and then click compare for a side by side..

Also a bitmap of each light would be nice...

Standard gobo load images would be handy too...

I know that's a lot..

But this is a really good start.

I’m in round two of my Beta test for the MLDB or Moving Light Database. With nerves, I open it up to you guys.

I believe the page is self explanatory, but if it is not, I would love feedback on that as well.

I have begun a wishlist and expect to get started on that, and any comments you all offer, in about 2 months.
