Drinks in the Heights: Onion Creek is really good; any of the Creek
bars are good [Cedar Creek, Dry Creek, etc.] Dave is right about the
Flying Saucer, which is downtown [not that far from the Heights].
Also downtown is everyone's favorite dive bar Warren's. Strong drinks
for not a lot of dough.

Lola is a really great restaurant; no drinks, but the food is worth
it. Java Java is great for breakfast. BBQ: Hickory Hollow is
Heights-adjacent and good. Goode Company has good BBQ as well.

Vendors: Stagelight is great for supplies and expendables. Techland
is as well. I can give you contact information for both of them
should you wish.

Hardware stores: Not my forte, but I hear Southland Hardware is the
best in town. They've got everything you could ever want, and then
some. I'm sure Will will chime in with more options.

I'll ask my wife about thrift shops and fabric stores as that's her
bread and butter. I know High Fashion Home in Midtown is where she
does a lot of her shopping for both personal and work. JoAnne's as
well.

I'd love to get together with you and your fiance [and Will and my
wife, if they will]. My schedule is tight next week, as I'm working
until 8PM most of the week.
