[SML] Gobo high temp tape

Is soldering them shut an option?  Lazy Googling shows regular solder
melts at 361F, but other solders can be procured at melt at 450F or up
to 600F in some cases.

What's the average temperature of a 575W lamp at gobo distance after an hour?
