[SML] Bending Track (or strut)

Try using a filler block inside the track section? If the space inside the
track is 1 1/2", slide some short pieces of 2x2 inside where the bend is
going, and that should keep the track from collapsing.
Another option is to talk to your local steel supplier (Gold Coast Steel in
Oxnard is my closest one) and see what their capabilities are.
