Not wanting to pour petrol onto a flame but I think both messages were 
unnecessary.

This is an e-list for theatre technical professionals most of whom I 
presume regularly deal with all sorts of hazardous stuff in one way or 
another and do so responsibly because that's the nature of the craft.
