The mail I sent a while back about more DMX studies, splitters, bias,
termination, etc has mushroomed into a full-on document, a companion

The page isn't done yet as I have yet to order and install some "thru"
connectors on the Enttec splitters and finalize my convo with their
R&D department.  Which my contact implied has become a bit of a
stirred-up hornets nest around this, as they realized some bad
assumptions.
