True. The building in question, built circa 1986-87, used steel conduit
embedded in the concrete floor for circuiting the floor pockets. When they
expanded the main hall in '95, from 50,000 to 71,000 sq ft., they did the
same thing, only changing to a lighter gauge stamped steel floor box and
less rugged outlets, however they did resist the trend of using PVC
conduit, specifically because of the grounding issues Brother Louis speaks
of.
