I've done this too, but instead of bond and lamination, I have used
overhead transparency stock through the laser printer or inkjet printer.
Now I use the transparency film and the DesignJet 450c I use for
construction drawings and light plots.
Can be tedious to cut out if there is a lot of detail, but like Patrick,
I've done this method many times for wallpaper stencils.
