[SML] drops on tour

What are people nowadays touring with for bottom weight?  (as in touring shows ----Network and bigger to First National----not rental drops)? 
Do these  still just travel with pipe and put it in each time??? (this would seem like an expensive royal PITA)…..   or is it just  weight already sewn in? …like chain, weighted tape or ribbon tape?  Any idea of weight per ft for a  maybe nominal 25" tall painted (or printed?) backdrop.  Ditto anything now done  for hour-glassing sides of same drops. beyond a decent hem? ….Same questions for  pained  legs (in the 8-10' wide variety.)
