Hello brilliant people,
My designer would like a table that is only supported by a pedestal at it's center. The top is plexiglas and 42" in diameter. The pedestal is 12" in diameter. What thickness of plexi do I need to make sure it's strong enough to be used as a table? I'm leaning towards 3/4", but I'd love a second opinion.
I'm not experienced enough in physics language to google this on my own, unfortunately.
Thanks!
