[SML] awful quiet/ETC

I am in rehearsal for a community theatre production of A Christmas Story which will open on Armistice Day. We are using both the ColorSource PAR and the ColorSource Spot. The spots, which have 36 degree barrels, are hung on stage as pipe ends. Haven't really had a chance to do much with them. I have worked with the PARs. They have a 26 degree beam angle and produce a 10' ball of light from a 24' trim. They use 5 DMX channels: Intensity, Red, Blue, Green and Strobe. I'm controlling them on an ETC Element. I used the Gel List on the Color Picker to give the lamps color. I colored my lamps in R80 and loaded them into one Sub Master. I loaded the same units in R26 and placed them on a second Sub Master. Sub 1 was Blue, Sub 2 was Red. I ran the Blue Sub from 0 to full. Stage was Blue. I added the Red Sub. When it reached half I had a nice Magenta mix. When I took it to full, the Blue disappeared and the stage turned Blood Red. According to the manual on the Sub Masters, the Intensity channel is HTP, but the color channels are LTP. Interesting.
We just acquired both the Board and the LED units. Yesterday was the first day I actually had a chance to play with them.
I was going to hang the ColorSource SPOTs FOH for color washes, but the house TD said I should use the conventional S4 Lekos. He said the ColorSource Spots "just don't cut it." He said the intensity is about equal to a 360Q.

I've heard the $750 number for the Par and the $1200 for the profile.
I've only seen the LED profiles demo'd with 36 or 26 degree barrels.
Has anyone used them with a 5 or 10 degree from an FOH position?
