Every year, I buy multiple strings of tiny incandescent bulbs for a
LUMINARIA that I produce. I use 1 bulb in each of 4000 #6 white paper
bags. Pricing: $12 for two 175-bulb strings, making $12 for 350 bulbs. The
cost of the power saved using LEDs is nowhere near the cost savings of
spending less than $.03 per bulb including tax at a Big Lots store in
SoCal. Check around...
