No Mimeograph for me please. It only takes one ink tube accident to
make one hate them with a passion. Dittos are probably what you are
thinking of. Dittos had their ink in the stencil that was liquified by
the ditto fluid. (Denatured alcohol? I was a wee lad when I used these,
and don't recall the odor well enough to be sure. ) That limited supply
of ink on the master was why it was only good for a hundred pages or so,
and faded into illegibility after that. I used to be able to use
different colored masters to create multicolor effects on the same page.
A true manual color separation process.
