Just that you can use smaller wires and don't have to worry as much about voltage drop.  And when someone plugs them accidentally into a 208v distro, you don't smoke the power supplies.

 It _can_ run on 120v or 208v.  In 'real world' use will it matter
which?  Is 208v any better?
