[SML] Kingston, NY to LGA

Yeah.  Google says Kingston to Fredonia is: 

5H 45m  (380.2 mi) via I 90 W
6H 19m  (366.9 mi) via I 86 W   (also via some NYS routes to get to I 86
6H 26 m  (369.4mi) via  NY 28W and then I 86W

I suppose they could also stay on Intestates by going S on NYS Thruway , Cut over at Newburgh  I 84 to I 86 then W  Again longer distance...says 415 miles and 6H 26m without traffic---almost free..

Sounds like a wash.....longer but faster.   I'm cheap, I'd go I 86----is it all  I  86 now or some still NYS 17?? 
I 86 or 28 then I 86 prettier I suppose.   
NYS Thruway more well travelled, you know where the rest stops are coming, you can get overcharged for food and gas. 
I'll assume we are  not talking winter and snow.
