Try going through it in the same direction twice in under 12 hours, when
your delayed flight gets cancelled and they put you up in a hotel
overnight. That passport check raises an eyebrow or two.

Also, I'd love to know the actual reasoning that you can use a passport
card for land or sea to Canada, but not for air. That strikes me as rather
silly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
