What is everyone's preferred method for laying out points on the stage
floor? Could be motor/rigging points, could be key dimensions of your set,
could be the location of a trap you need to cut.

Assumptions:
1) You have a valid center line
2) You have a valid "zero line" (plaster line, smoke pocket line,
downstage edge of the stage in an arena)
3) Center line and zero line are square to each other
4) Most of your points are within the confines of the proscenium
opening
5) But some of your points are not within the proscenium opening and in
fact are almost at the offstage wall

Requirements:
1) Your method needs to be accurate and square/true
2) Your method needs to be relatively quick
3) You know the point locations in advance, so if you want to
triangulate you may

And go..
