[SML] "Dimmer" Is this too good to be true?

Yes, kinda snake oil. In the text for the specs it says "This product uses the new two-way High Power SCR, Because the design of the current max up to 20 A". I only see 1 SCR in the pictures, so my guess is it's really 2000 watts at 110 volts. Also no UL/CSA rating, if your AHJ is going to care about such things. I would just go with 2,000 watt "wall" dimmers, but of course those cost more than $15
