Fire Extinguishers are self timing....as in if the extinguisher runs out
and the fire is still burning it is obvious the next thing to do is leave.
The FD feels that fire hoses encourage people to play hero for too long.
Not just that general public is not trained in using the hose, but they are
not trained in judging the danger either.

Once it was explained by the Fire Marshal it really did convince me.
