Talking to one of the local fire captains at his son's Eagle board
recently he noted that fires (residential and office primarily) now hit
1,800 F compared to the 300 F to 500 F of 40 or 50 years ago. Mostly a
product of the materials burning. 1,800 F steel has a nice orange glow.
