How about running Tink along a tensioned steel wire? Tink could have a
battery pack and optional wireless control. Leaving HOME turns on the
power and starts the sequence. Landing in PARK at the other end of the
wire shuts it off.
One end of the wire could be moved side to side to cause the path to
wander some.
Tink could either be self-propelled (pinch roller on the wire and small
motor) or pulled.
If pulled, the pull cord would need travelers to keep it from sagging.
