No, we just apparently use the submasters differently. I record looks in the
submasters, not single instrument levels. No need for inhibits, since I can
just pull down a sub fader as necessary.

I have not programmed an Express in a long time, so don't recall its
limitations. I currently have the luxury of 120 submasters, which allows me
plenty of freedom.
