off list please tell me who the “design consultant company” is . . 

one of my venues has a STRAND rack   , , , no issues . .  it also came with a PALETTE 1500 LIVE

we pretty much use the PALETTE now as an emergency back up to our ION . . we had / have 
issues with the internal CPU  which died and we pulled the card out of the rack mounted back up
and put THAT in the console as opposed to spending A LOT OF MONEY on a replacement

I will say this . . since TOM STANZIANO has taken over as Strand / Phillips / VariLight rep for our area
we have great cooperation from Tom   ., . can’t say enough good things about him . . 

some of his predecessors ?   not so much . . .
