[SML] HDMI

This is a couple days old but... I have used the long cables from/branded
monoprice with success and the cost is quite low. I keep a couple 40' on
hand, and several smaller sizes and have not experienced any issues.
For distances greater than 30' I prefer to convert to Cat6 whenever
possible. All the big names make great converters, though I've been quite
happy with converters from AMX/SVSI, Extron, and SmartAVI. That said I've
not found one that doesn't work but I generally stay away from brands I
don't recognize.
I did inherit a monster cable HDMI cable. It's terrible.
