All,
For those of you bringing (previously) live trees on stage
(without leaves) what treatments are you doing for bugs and fire ? Has
anyone suffered and infestation as a result of poorly treated live
foliage coming into their theater?
We usually put all live branches or leaves in our box truck and set off
a bug bomb before we bring it in the theater. Gets rid of all the
little critters.
Funny enough, though -- doesn't help with poison ivy oil. Be careful
where you're cutting and look closely at what you're cutting down. I
got a horrible case of poison ivy in February one year from the live trees
we cut down for a show.
