[SML] Time to replace my scoops - Dimmable / Affordable LED fixtures?

Hi all,

Well, I just installed the last of my store of DSD and DSE lamps. 1000 
watt, 120 volt, Mogul base quartz lamps in our venerable 16" scoop 
fixtures.

I knew this day was coming - the day the lamp supplier says "they don't 
make those any more" - and here it is.

So, now (unless someone has a stash of these bulbs they don't need) we 
need to replace the fixtures as the last of the lamps fail with 
something from the late 20th century.

Our dimmer system is a 1990 vintage EDI 'Scrimmer' and it would be 
lovely if we could find LED fixtures that will play nicely with it. It 
was always challenging to find lamps that didn't 'sing' with the oddly 
mis-shapen waveform of the dimmer pack.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)
