[SML] Old Equipment

Over the years, with several AV system upgrades, we've ended up with a few
closets of old components, all of which still function, but may just be
upgraded or obsolete. Since noone has ever said "no thanks, I have
sufficient storage space", we're looking to do a good cleaning this winter.
What do people normally do with old AV gear? Thank you in advance.
