[SML] Trackballs

I use the Logitech M570 but I like the large ball at the thumb position while my fingers sit on the buttons.

I just replaced the trackball on our CAD system with a new one, Sharon keeps wearing them out.  The problem is this one has a long delay recovering from sleep.

Symptoms:  Use track ball for a while and then pause for a short while (10 seconds?).  Go to move it again and nothing happens for a couple of seconds.

Trackball is Kensington Expert Mouse, K64325

Web search shows people having the problem, haven't found any answers.

Called Kensington and they had me unplug it and plug it back in, then suggested returning it to the store.
