[SML] House light control question

Howdy gang,

We’re looking to replace the ancient Copycat houselight control in our music building and I’ve narrowed it down to two choices. Either a Lightronics Unity SC810, or an ETC Echo system, (including an 8 pre-set , a four preset with fader and the EchoAccess Bluetooth controller).

The Lightonics should be an easy plug-in swap giving us a similar system, with the added benefit of programmable pre-set buttons, and the ETC gives us preset buttons, one fader knob plus Bluetooth control. I’m thinking the ETC might be a bit of overkill, (as well as a few hundred bucks more expensive).

If anyone has experience on either of these systems and cares to comment, I’ll might just owe you a beverage at USITT.
