 Not in FL, but a couple of years ago we replaced our hydraulic pit-&-ram
orchestra lifts with Serapid chains. While we aren't in your neck of the
swamp, we have similar water table issues in the area - the Wharton Center
is a very long stone's throw from the Red Cedar River on the MSU campus,
and Michigan is chock-full of lakes and streams and rivers and whatnot
associated with high water table.

I can refer you to our TD, Sandy Thomley, who can give you all sorts of
info regarding the transfer from hydro lifts to chains. You can reach her
