My guess would be that the discharge jets set up a resonant vibration
in the racks. May indeed have been caused by the sound pressure wave,
but it was more than just having a drive sitting in a sound field. The
video of the guy shouting at the discs was fascinating though - of
course, he was right on top of a single disc and shouting at the top
of his lungs, and even then he only affected the one disc he was
directly shouting at. It does clearly demonstrate that vibration
affects the disc tracking though.
