It's possible to buy various little converter boxen that will take a SDI input, and pass it thru to existing uses while also giving a composite video output
(or an HDMI output if that would be better).  Under $100. depending what you want -- some way under.

If you already have the signal as composite (or whatever your green room monitor wants to see) you can get a DA for even less money.
