I think they "just don't make it like they used to." Our previous
"Maso" floor lasted 9 years, and then was replaced with (allegedly)
the same thing..... having the same results as you. Gaff pulling up
paint AND the 'smooth' surface, down to bare fibers. Even after
having the paint manufacturer's industrial finishes specialist spec
and supervise both the priming and the painting, it all chips off like
crazy.
Wishing I'd just stuck with our old floor... I dare say, even at 9
years old, it looked better than this new floor.
