While touring WarHorse and Dirty Dancing in the past five years, I've
visited about a dozen roadhouses who had replaced their old stage flooring
with StageBoard. I didn't find it slick at all; I'm guessing once it's down
and in use, the initial slickiness from the manufacturing process wears
away.
I like that it retains its black color through the scratches, and it takes
drilling fairly well - like a hardwood, you *must* pre-drill for screws.
Yes, even for drywall screws. I also love that it doesn't splinter or
fracture... unless you don't pre-drill.
Why does that autocorrect to pre-Deull? Oh, Jonathon?
And I *really* like that the stuff is very happy taking larger Redhead
anchors in lieu of lag screws, for anchoring. That's *way* vital in my book.
