At my previous venue we continually had issues will reliable presentation clickers. We eventually invested in a DSAN perfect cue system:

The way we had it set up, the presenter had a wireless clicker. The receiver sat on the apron next to the video confidence monitor. The receiver was connected to another receiver in the booth with mic cable. We chose to have the clicker cue an operator who actually advanced the slides. We also purchased two clickers that way we had a backup in case there was problems with the primary.

> I am looking for a wired presenter-clicker for powerpoint type operations. The WIFI environment, during events, is just to crowded and I am loosing connection/signal.
> The distance is <75' to the receiver but not totally direct.
> I have tried many presenter-pointers (even several R800 high powered Logitech Pro units) and they all work well until the audience(s) arrive, Then as soon as the presenter person moves off center to stage left, the signal and connection are lost.
> I have seen tv weather people with tethered clickers, to advance their slides, but I cannot seem to find anything closer than a mouse. I even checked out Markertek.
> Can someone point me to a vendor for a wired clicker/presenter? Otherwise I will have to build
