I would look at scaffolding options

Google scaffold depot 78″X60″ ARCH FRAME, these are rated, compatable with
X bracing on the back and can be used with a 2x6 framed deck with a trap,
notch the 2x6's to lock it to the frame, add screw legs to get to 8ft

for speed of setup, you can add scaff wheels instead of screw legs or on
just one end

for safety they also sell rated railings, ladders and stairs
