[SML] Folding chair rental questions--

Cornell owns thousands (literally) of   Samsonite commercial grade all steel folding chairs (with  maybe a few knock offs)……same model has been sold for years by Samsonite.   Not classy but , powder coated, holds 300# and has a 10 year warranty.  Yes they have to be zip tied high and low.  Biggest problem is that the seat is not very wide so when you tie them together there isn’t much room for “modern“ butt sizes.  Because we own so many, ours are custom colored (red, of course) Work fine for graduation and other big events.  Also cheap….you can buy discounted for $30 or even less ( $60+ list) Here’s a pic of graduation .  All the graduates on the field are sitting on these type of chairs.   Field house is set up with another 3000 or so in case of rain.
