I would second the recommendation for the Listen RF systems
The issues with the phone based systems is delay and latency, it depends on so many factors to get a clean signal. The listen devices are just simple and reliable
I personally like their legacy 72mhz receivers becasue they use standard AA batteries, so you can use their charging station or regular batteries, if you dont use the system a lot, it cuts down on battery costs
the listen receivers also use standard headphones so you can supply dollar store headphones or they can supply their own, some places sell the headphones for a buck or 2
They also have induction loop systems, so you can use the same system with people who have t-loop hearing aids or implants

I’d Third this! The Listen systems set ups work really well.
We use them in small 300 seat theaters and also, our 3,300 seat arena.
One of the things we do when we give out the beltpack receivers is request ID and write down their info. We’ve been thinking of getting a scanner that reads the barcode on the ID to make it all faster.
Just so we have their contact info in case they go home with it.
We always give out a whole set, meaning beltpack and earphones (or T-loop) so when getting it back there is no confusion as to whether or not they got it in the first place and did or didn’t loose it. They are always free to use their own as they like but, this way it all goes out and all has to come back.
