[SML] Messages posting?

gmail doesn't put your post to email lists in your inbox as a new unread
message, rather it treats it just like the message you sent and deems it to
have already been read by you.  I find it to be one of the many unintuitive
things that gmail does but I still find it better overall than others I
have tried.
