I have just discovered another Element problem, which I have never seen
before. I am at a loss to explain how it could even occur.
Keep in mind that I am not on the current release or upgraded CPU/backplane.
It may be a software bug that was corrected in a more recent release.
The show is in "cue only" mode.
There are a sequence of three cues with many lights being controlled. The
problem occurs with 2 channels and is repeatable.
In the first cue of the sequence, the two channels are set to non-zero levels.
In the second cue, those two channels are set to zero.
The first two cues run correctly, with the on-stage intensities and tombstone
displays being correct (although I do not recall if the tombstones for those
two channels showed blanks or zeros).
The problem occurs when the third cue, a blackout of all channels, runs. The
lights on those two channels return to the intensity levels of the first cue,
as far as I can tell. But the tombstones for those two channels do not show
any intensity level.
If I then do a GoTo Cue Enter Enter, the two misbehaving channels go to zero.
Rerecording those two channels at zero in the second cue did not fix it. But I
found that if I set those channels to the same level they have in cue 1, then
the problem during the blackout does not occur - the channel levels then
behave.
I did not have time after finding the workaround to see if can recreate the
problem.
This has me scratching my head.
