Second the 3m VHB double sided sticky tape.  The other thing is if you 
are using the weatherproof LED tapes is that they need to be stuck to 
something metal that can act as a heat sink.   Make sure the surface you 
are attaching the stuff needs to be clean, dry, oil free and smooth.
