As we head into a new season this summer, we're looking to fill some
positions.  We're looking to fill:

ASSISTANT LIGHTING SUPERVISOR/MASTER ELECTRICIAN – The nationally
recognized Alley Theatre(LORT B and C) in Houston, TX seeks an
experienced, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual
forAssistant Lighting Supervisor. The Alley produces 14 productions in
two performance spaces each year and recently completed a $46M
renovation of the theatre facility. The Alley is committed to equality
and diversity in its workforce and encourages all interested parties
to apply. Responsibilities include assisting Lighting Supervisor in
day-to-day operations of the Lighting Department, acting as Master
Electrician for assigned shows, assisting Lighting and/or Projection
Designers on assigned shows, and purchasing. Proficient with
Vectorworks and Lightwright, experience with ETC networks and
equipment, familiar with intelligent lighting equipment, familiar with
projection/video equipment and software (Adobe Creative Cloud,
Watchout, QLab, Final Cut Pro). Three years of professional regional
theatre experience preferred. This position is salaried and includes
paid vacation, health and dental benefits, and a 401(k) retirement

in Houston, TX seeks an experienced individual for Scenic Artist. The
Alley produces 14 productions in two performance spaces each year and
recently completed a $46M renovation of the theatre facility. The

have advanced skills with a variety of scenic painting, sculpting,
texturing and finishing techniques. Applicants must have good

PROPERTIES ARTISAN - The nationally recognized Alley Theatre (LORT B
and C) in Houston, TX seeks a motivated Props Artisan for the
Properties Department Staff. The Alley produces 14 productions in two
performance spaces each year and recently completed a $46M renovation
of the theatre facility. The Alley is committed to equality and

apply. Skill set should include: strong furniture finishing, faux and
scenic painting, sculpting, carving and casting, graphic design and
layout, carpentry, and metal work. Additional duties will include set
decoration, load-in and strikes of productions, pulling rehearsal
props. The ideal candidate will combine artistic ability with
knowledge of period styles and fine workmanship, work with varied
personalities and tight timetables. This position is full-time hourly,

Preferred skills include: expertise in millinery; jewelry
manipulation, alteration, and construction; fabric dyeing, painting,
and modification; ability to research, develop, and utilize materials
in the creation of craft-related costume pieces; shoe modification
experience; knowledge of all periods of costuming; and strong time
management, organizational, and supervisory skills. This position is
salaried with a benefits package including paid vacation, health and

proficiency in menswear construction; excellent stitching skills; a
firm background in costume history and knowledge of period costume
