[SML] Dry Ice

There is nothing quite like real dry ice, so much better visually than low smoke IMHO.  I find that two peasouper style machines, one either side upstage is best,  each with a single ten inch block well broken up into pieces or the equivalent in pellets.  Make sure machines are on a rolling boil. Get it fresh daily, ( it will disappear over a weekend, so if you have shows on sat and sun and the delivery is on friday, get in enough for the shows  plus a couple of blocks to allow for losses, and store in a big wooden box or flightcase  well lined with polystyrene  but make sure any built up gasses can escape so not a closed fridge.  Wear PPI! 
I had not  thought of a heated wire across the floats that sounds feasible!
