ZANESVILLE community theatre holds a venue license from BMI and ASCAP.

BMI is currently restructuring their licensing but at the present ours is
based on number of seats. We seat 92.

ASCAP is based on number of speakers.

We pay a flat rate per year.
It covers all music performed (live concert style, recorded for preshow,
intermission, walk-out). But internal cues need to be cleared one at a time
per event.

Of course, musicals and concert pieces from MTI, TAMS, etc are licensed
whole.
